The REMedy Story

  I didn’t initially set out planning to become a paediatric sleep consultant — it happened naturally,  through the work I was already doing.
 Working in sleep and healthcare, I spent years watching how deeply sleep affects well being, mood, relationships, and the day-to-day functioning of families. I saw exhausted patients trying to “push through,” hoping things would magically improve, and I realised how many of these struggles could be eased with the right knowledge and guidance.  
I’ve always been someone who needs to understand the why behind things — the science, the patterns, the behaviours. The more families I supported in my clinical role, the more I felt pulled toward the early years of sleep, where the foundations are first set and where small changes make the biggest difference.
What started as curiosity quickly became a passion and I found myself diving deeper into infant sleep, learning everything I could, and noticing how even simple education transformed the confidence of new parents. That’s what sparked the shift: realising I could support families long before sleep problems spiralled, and help them feel calm, prepared, and empowered from the very beginning.
REMedy was born from that — from wanting to blend science with compassion and give parents the tools I wish every family had access to. A space where sleep feels understandable and achievable, even in the chaos of the newborn stage.
